I focus on building relationships with my students and teaching students calmly and compassionately to embrace all types of learners.  Learning is not just academic, students need to have their social, emotional, and academic needs met at school.  I give my students high expectations that I strive to help them reach or exceed.  I focus on providing my students with equity, not equality.  Not all students learn the same, and some need extra support.  I want to help each student meet their individual goals at their pace and how they best learn.
